The officer parks his car and tries to get to the bottom of what just happened. After talking with both Earl and Ethel, the officer radios his superior. “I have an interesting case here, Sarge” he says. “This woman, Ethel, hit her husband in the head with a baseball bat for stepping on the floor she just mopped.” “Have you arrested her for it?” asks the sergeant. “No sir, not yet. the floor is still wet.”
