Ethel and Earl
Earl went to the doctor complaining of in-
somnia. The doctor gave him a thorough
examination and found
absolutely nothing physically wrong with
him, and then told him,
"Listen, if you ever expect to cure your
insomnia, you just have to figure out a way
to stop taking your trouble to bed with
you."
"I wish I could Doc," Earl said,
"but I can’t. I have tried to for years now
and my wife, Ethel, will have none of it,
she still refuses to sleep alone."
Then Earl says, “But, if you would give me
a prescription that says
Ethel has to sleep in the
guest room?”
