Santa Claus is coming to town and he is bringing with
him a pile of SNOW! Join us at our Dothan Down-
town Christmas Festival for a day of family fun in-
cluding sledding, s’mores, caroling, arts & crafts and
much, much more! This is a rain, shine or snow event
which means we will be there, umbrellas on standby.
Come out and join us for a cool, winter day down-
town. You may want to pack weather proof gloves
because the sledding zone has real snow, and it gets

December 8, 2018-Saddle up Santa Christmas Fes-
tival- (Dothan, AL)
This event is a great way to step back into time where
money isn’t everything, it’s a way to let children and
families see the joys of Christmas and community at
Dothan Boots & Saddle Club, . The Saddle Up Santa
Christmas Festival will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, from
10 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be free entertainment
for local residents, including free games and inflat-
able bounce houses for children, a cake walk, door
prizes, silent auction, visits with Santa.There will also
be horse drawn wagon rides and even a skit done by a
drill team on horseback.In addition, area nonprofit
agencies will be on hand that provide services to as-
sist and help families struggling to make ends meet.
They will also be collecting canned food for the
Wiregrass Area Food Bank. Donations appreciated

mas-( Dothan, AL)
Landmark Park, 430 Landmark Drive, Dothan. Warm up
to some holiday hospitality during Landmark Park’s an-
nual Victorian Christmas Open House Sunday, Dec. 9,
from 1-4 p.m. Visitors are invited to sample turn-of-the-
century desserts, sip hot chocolate or mulled cider while
children try their hand at making traditional Christmas
decorations and enjoy a wagon ride around the property.
A circuit riding preacher will arrive to deliver a Christ-
mas message in the historic Presbyterian Church and
Santa will be available to visit with the kids. Admission
is free and donations of nonperishable food items will
be accepted for the Wiregrass United Way Area Food
Bank.
