Looking for a fun way to give your child the foundation for a
lifetime of healthy living? Yoga can do just that! Our class begins
with a warm up of standing poses for stretching and strengthening
arms, legs and back. Then we travel to the floor to explore a more
subtle practice with poses like cat, pigeon and downward facing
dog, to name a few. Next, we incorporate group work which
anchors the children’s bonds with each other. The class moves onto
relaxation and breathing practices which serves to develop self
awareness and inner quiet. To wrap up, we play and participate in
games that engage and delight the students for the transition from
class to the larger world around them.
Junior Birding Walks
NEW!
Join us for junior birding walks at various City of Napa
Parks. Twice a month we will explore local parks with birding
expert Crystal DeMarco from the Napa-Solano Audubon Society.
There will be opportunities for outdoor education about our local
ecosystems and the birds that inhabit them. Dress in weather
appropriate outdoor gear, bring some water, hiking footwear, and
binoculars!
