Ballet
At the beginning, students will execute all of the exercises facing
the barre, holding the barre with both hands. Later, the barre is
held with one hand and the exercises are done alternately with the
right and the left leg. After mastery of facing the barre, the student
continues holding the barre with one hand. For the more correct
adaptation of turn-out, the series of exercises is first studied to the
side, back and forwards, and backwards. Classes are taught in an
environment that encourages creativity and fun, fostering a love of
dance while simultaneously teaching proper ballet technique. No
prior Ballet experience required.

Pre-Ballet
Both boys and girls are encouraged to attend this class to
learn ballet class fundamentals: basic positions, postures, and
terminology. They learn basic classroom etiquette like taking
directions from the instructor and sharing turns with peers.
Learning through reflection in the mirror, use of props, play/
performance, set to beautiful music, in an engaging way that is fun
and promotes self esteem and creative expression.

Ballet
This class focuses on the development of the strength of the legs
and the insteps by means of alternating movements. Instructors
strive to make the enchaînements challenging, interesting,
both mentally and physically, while always keeping in mind the
development of the dancer as a whole without developing poor
habits. No prior ballet experience required!

Introduction to Ballet Teen/Adult
Introduction to Ballet is a class for students looking to step into
the world of Ballet, perhaps even looking to achieve careers in the
field of dance or simply to enjoy the benefits of ballet training.
Students in this class will receive a strong and thorough foundation
in classical ballet and may pursue the more advanced levels which
consistent training. No previous dance experience required.
