Beginning Painting
“I didn’t know that painting a sky and clouds was this
easy!” “Undercoating a painting really helps to cover those
little bumps.” These are things we learn at this easy-going,
beginning and advanced painting class. Learn how to
use perspective, lay out your painting in accordance with
correct principles, and many other useful things to move you
along to a higher level as an artist. Acrylic and oil painters
welcome.

Here’s an art class where you can definitely get beyond
“stick people.” You’ll be learning to draw and paint in a
very friendly environment. Whether you’re new to the art
world, or advanced, this workshop is for you! Each person
decides on his or her medium of choice and subject matter.
Newcomers will begin with easy instructions in pencil and
then be introduced to acrylic painting. Come give it a try!

If you have taken the Beginning Ukulele 1 class one or
more times, or you know the basic chords (C-Am-F-A7-D7-
G7-C7), then you are ready for Beginning Ukulele 2. This
class will continue with more chords and more harmonically
complex songs. You will also learn some fingerpicking
patterns and continue working on strumming. It doesn’t get
more difficult, it just gets easier and more fun!

Beginning Tap Dancing
This class will help you learn the basic skills of tap dancing.
This is great exercise for the body and the mind while
having a lot of fun! This class is for students who are new to
tap dancing or who haven’t tapped in many years.

synapses in your brain. The popularity of the ukulele has
never been higher. Why? It’s inexpensive, easy to learn, and
doesn’t require anything more than the desire to play it.
Practicing simple chords five minutes a day will quickly lead
to a playing proficiency that will allow you to play hundreds,
if not thousands, of songs!
