attention to those tasks that are work
related, or for friends or family that
are expected of you, along with the
basics that support your own to-do
list in order to uphold your sanity.
Running to the office supply store to
get flyers made for an upcoming event
relieves you from office work, but now
you will be battling traffic, and are
faced with a back up of printing orders
ahead of you, which ultimately sets
your available time back considerably.
Once you’re stuck at a location waiting
upon the completion of your order,
ask yourself if you are using the slot
of time to accomplish anything else?
If you don’t have to be on hand to
supervise the order you have put in,
then by all means, fill up the available
time with anything else you can
scratch off your list.
accomplish what you can, and move
on. Focus your efforts on the allotted
timeframe without allowing yourself
to stray from cleaning the weeds out.
If you are struggling to stay on task,
then when the time is up, move on
to organizing the garage and setting
aside articles to donate. Again, set a
timer and do not allow yourself to
deviate from freeing yourself from
items that energetically weigh you
down. If you do find that you have the
ability to continue sorting through the
garage, then by all means, reset the
timer and continue chipping away.
Make sure you keep track of your
list of to-do items, and scratch them
off the list as they are completed. You
will ultimately experience a sense of
accomplishment and the heaviness of
stress is relieved with each finalized
task.
Clearing your plate of things you have
to do, while improving upon your time
management, gifts you time to further
utilize in a way that will enhance the
life you desire. Look at the goals you
have, and focus in on completing
high priority tasks in a more timely
manner. Harmonizing between
the tasks of work and personal life
paves the way for stress-reduced
circumstances. The more control you
have over your time management,
the more time you create to spend on
yourself and the things which matter.
With the ever-changing technology
and humans’ desire to save time, in
order to create more time for yourself,
keep up on time savers that aim to
keep you moving. Several food and
merchandise locations are offering to
gather the items you need, and even
deliver them straight to your trunk,
so time is spared finding what you
need, lugging them up to the scanner,
and toting them back to your vehicle.
Once you have used technology to
your advantage, the next feat to tackle
includes prioritizing household, self,
and work burdens, which all show up
on the radar along with anything else
you’d like to set aside time to do. Sort
them out in an order that includes
the “what has to be done” versus
“desired things to do.” When you get
home from work you know you have
groceries to put away, but consider
starting the pressure cooker or the
oven while you’re food prepping, as
this helps get a jump on dinner. If
cleaning the house is not a priority
to fulfill by a certain time, let it drop
to the bottom of the list, and engage
in ensuring the laundry is washed
and available to wear as needed. If
you notice you get easily distracted
and lose focus, set a time limit to
