I am writing to thank you for your support of the Summer Public Interest Law Work Grant that is funded jointly through the North Dakota Bar Foundation and the University of North Dakota School of Law . I was one of the fortunate recipients of funding from this grant for the work I was involved with at Legal Services of North Dakota this past summer . The grant provided the opportunity for me to serve this critical organization , its clients , and its important mission without the organization needing to pay for my services .
I have now had more than ample time to reflect on the effects this grant has , not only in creating tremendous experiences for law students like me , but also in offering support to critical public interest law organizations such as the one I served . I fully believe in the significance of this grant as well as the role it plays in fostering these educational experiences and in supporting organizations such as Legal Services of North Dakota . I hope the timing of this letter is such that it offers an unexpected and welcome reminder that your continued support of this grant is truly appreciated . Again , thank you !
