FITNESS MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTION New Energy Fitness instructors share their aspirations for 2018 ROCKY Spin and Functional Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer AYLA Hip-Hop Cardio Instructor I’m planning more holidays for 2018. I’m someone who’s always on the go and I love my work, so it’s tempting to do too much of it. I need to build in more down-time to recharge the batteries. I’m going to cut out fast food completely, with better meal planning and preparation of food at home for healthier lunches. It’s too easy to opt for a nutritionally poor alternative when you are in a hurry. LORNA Yoga Instructor SAM I’d like to use my bike more for leisure time and not just as a means of transport. Not only does cycling give me great mental space, it’s also a good all-round body workout. Cycling for pleasure when there’s no pressure on getting from A to B allows me to really appreciate the local countryside too. Gravity and Spin Instructor I’m a big kid at heart and am determined to be able to do a handstand by the end of the year. I’ll be building up my upper-body strength with our Gravity kit and reckon that will be a good test. TASHA TOPE Body Sculpt, Barre Concept and Energy Balance Instructor TRX Instructor and Personal Trainer I want to run a half marathon. I’ve never really enjoyed running but have been motivated by the team here and want to give myself a goal. Long-distance running is physically and mentally demanding, so I’ll be training hard to get there. I want to be able to deliver a perfect wedding speech. I really enjoy motivating groups of people in a class but the thought of standing up in front of everyone at my wedding in June will definitely require courage! 01962 435064 | 53
