Funding Priorities Supporting able boys – 102 boys are receiving bursaries to the value of £2.1million ▘▘ 2013/2014 86 boys received a bursary to the value of £1.7million ▘▘ 2013/2014 £1.3million was donated by OWs and parents towards bursaries Winchester’s greatest public benefit lies at the heart of its Founder’s vision, enshrined in the statutes of 1382, that is, the provision of a good education for those who can profit and contribute by it, regardless of financial background. ▘▘ 2009/2010 51 boys received a bursary to the value of £620,123 Each Housemaster wants to attract excellent and committed boys whose presence will enhance the life of the House and the School. Donations can be allocated specifically towards the House Bursary Fund to ensure that each House remains a broad society.
