As you can see flipping through the pages of this month’s Wildcat Connection, summer is an extremely busy time of year for K-State Research and Extension, Wildcat District! Faculty within our district work across discipline lines to help each other throughout the year – and have really went above and beyond this summer to lend a hand to each other. It is exciting to see such fantastic teamwork within the district!

In addition to our programs, events, and activities, it is also a busy time in regard to administration. Summer is the time for budgets, audits, and planning – this year we also have the added fun of planning with our newly-created Wildcat Extension Education Foundation. If you have been looking for a great 501(c)3 in which to donate, look no further than this foundation. Your donation could help pay 4-H fee for youth, send kids to camp, expand our Family & Consumer Science program, or create a new Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Horticulture program. Contact me today for more information 620-724-8233; [email protected].

During this very busy time, it is important to stop and thank our fantastic volunteers! We are truly grateful for the countless hours that volunteers spend enriching the lives of our youth and their families.

TERRIFIC TEAMWORK!

THANK YOU TO ALL VOLUNTEERS WHO MAKE OUR SUMMER PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES POSSIBLE!
