n order to obtain reliable and
precise answers to my questions
and in order to offer you the best
possible results, I wanted to acquire
a hydrophone or an oscilloscope.
To my surprise, I learned that
the least expensive machines to meet my
needs, cost in the five figures or more. I
then tried to rent one, but to no avail. I will
admit that I was overly disappointed.
A few weeks later, at a lunch with friends,
I told them that one of my text projects had
fallen into the water, to my great despair.
One of my friends, Daniel Morier, wanted
to know more about this subject. So I told
him the whole story. In addition to being
a fishing enthusiast, this communications
technician at Bell Canada is a true
enthusiast of scuba diving. Aged 60, he has
dived since 1978 into a multitude of lakes
in Quebec as well as in the most beautiful
seas of the world.
