Throughout Access to
Teaching I enjoyed the
science units therefore
wanted to learn more
about the subject.
I gained a lot of practical
and personal skills within
science, organisation and
time management. The
confidence that I have
now is fantastic. It was a
great honour to win the
Outstanding Achievement
Award, I was surprised
to have even been
nominated.
College had many benefits
and was a fantastic
experience as I felt
encouraged every step of
the way. The lecturers were
patient and supportive,
they made a difference.
I’ve made life long friends
while at college.
I’m studying towards
a degree in Applied
Bioscience at university
and my long term plan
is to gain a teaching
qualification. I’m looking
forward to using my
knowledge of science
to make the subject fun
and interesting for school
children.
