There are a multitude of places to visit while in Scandinavia but the following are a few which should not be missed:

It is well-worth visiting the many castles in Denmark and learning about the Kings and Queens. The castles have a distinct style, influenced by the Baroque period.

Whale watching is also a great option. Visitors can take a whale safari in Norway and if you are feeling brave it is even possible to swim with these majestic creatures.

Take a walking tour across Djurgarden, an island in Stockholm full of parks, events and various activities. It is an excellent recreational area and has over 10 million visitors every year.

Visit Legoland! There are 340 billion pieces of Lego all turned into a variety of awe inspiring creations. Buildings, boats, cars and trains are all made from Lego. There are even many rides to try.

The Danish Royal Gardens allow visitors a few moments of time out from the bustling city celebrations. Spectacularly maintained and a welcome retreat; just like the rest of Scandinavia.
