Each summer Witter Field is host to 36 Rafters home games as well as games for Lincoln High School, Assumption High School, and the American Legion baseball programs. In addition to baseball, the ballpark provides a perfect venue to gather the community for other events during the summer and throughout the year.
The Rafters have again partnered with Aspirus Riverview Hospital and Clinics to host a FREE community movie night at the ballpark on Friday, August 3rd. The feature film will be The Sandlot and will begin at 7:30PM. The Rafters and Aspirus invite you to bring your family and friends, a lawn chair or a blanket, and enjoy the featured film. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase during the movie as well.
The second annual Rushing Rapids Craft Beer Festival is set to take place on Saturday, September 8th this year. The festival will take place from 2-5:30PM and will feature 30 breweries along with live music by the band BOOMBOXX. For adults 21 and older, a $40 ticket will include a 4oz sampling glass along with unlimited samples during the festival time. This year the event will also feature wing samples for all attendees as part of the ticket price.
