DIEFENBUNKER , CANADA ’ S COLD WAR MUSEUM Once a bomb shelter built to protect the prime minister , government leaders , and military brass in the event of a nuclear attack , the Diefenbunker — named for Canada ’ s former prime minister , John Diefenbaker — has been preserved as a museum .
