Meanwhile , Little Italy ' s Gladstone Theatre is staging the classic boy meets strange plant , strange plant brings him fame and fortune , boy feeds rival to strange plant story . That old chestnut ! Musical madness at its best with Little Shop of Horrors ( ApRil 13 to 23 ).

In 1892 , Lord Stanley awarded the country ’ s top amateur hockey club with a trophy — a chalice that has since become a Canadian holy grail . A capital birthday party for the national obsession ’ s 125th will include a tribute concert ( MARCH 17 ) at the Canadian Tire Centre , a ground-breaking ceremony for a new Stanley Cup monument on Sparks Street ( MARCH 18 ), and a meet-and-greet with the Cup and hockey legends at Lansdowne ’ s Aberdeen Pavilion ( MARCH 17 ).
