ASSINIBOINE PARK Enjoy a walk in the crisp winter
air through this park’s many trails. Activities include a
toboggan slide, ice skating and cross-country skiing trails

BIRDS HILL PROVINCIAL PARK Located a half hour
from downtown Winnipeg, this prairie park offers groomed
cross-country ski trails that wind for 30 km throughout.
Daily admission $5 annual pass $40. Gates are open

WINDSOR PARK NORDIC SKI CENTRE A golf course in
summer, this outdoor park offers two lighted cross-country
ski trails for as long as there’s snow to ski. The green loop
measures 3 km, while the more challenging blue loop is 5
km in length. Mon-Thu 12 pm-10 pm, Fri noon-9 pm, Sat-
