international artists johnson tsang hong kong “I love tranquility and enjoy being in a tranquil environment. I feel myself like a grain of grass, a flower, a tree, a mountain, a piece of cloud, a lake. Sometimes, I just stop thinking. Being in a static status, I do not care too much about what happens around me. This is like being in a selfless space where I do not need any more information, more fast-running computers nor any more science and knowledge. When I am working on my artwork, I enter this peaceful status easily. I have to admit that most of my creative ideas root from this status. I observe the world from the inside, sense what is happening with intuition and experience it through creating art. I prefer not to explain my works with words. I hope the viewers can interpret them, feel their meanings, search and discover the answers from their own points of view.” 39
