boarding house studio galleries DENVER, COLORADO The Boarding House Studio Galleries building was a boarding house for its first 100 years. Jack Kerouac, in a novel, mentions visiting a friend “in a boarding house just off Grant.” In 2005, a couple of artists rented rooms, solely for the purpose of painting. Since then it has grown into a community of 13 artists, each with their own private studio and or gallery. While brand new buildings and businesses have grown up in the neighborhood, our 1906 boarding house stands out as an example of creativity and community. We are surrounded by wonderful restaurants and beautiful city views. We invite you to stop and shop or see what we are working on if you ’re in the neighborhood. If you’d like to meet with a particular artist at a specific time, please contact that artist directly to set up an appointment. www.boardinghousestudiogalleries.com
