After marrying and having three children, Theresa became a stay-at-home mom, spending a lot of time tutoring her son who is autistic. During this time, the family owned and rode horses and Theresa began painting them as well. Once all three children were grown and in college, she started painting full-time. Theresa is represented by Kasum Contemporary Fine Art in Oklahoma City, Wilde Meyer Gallery in Scottsdale and Tucson, Arizona, and Tracy Miller Gallery in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Her paintings have been featured in Southwest Art Magazine, Western Art Collector, Cowgirl Magazine, Country Life Magazine, and Horses in Art.
