Sean  Christopher  Ward’s  work  differs  completely  from  Lindys.    He  has  a  backing  in   graphic  design  and  a  desire  for  perfectionism  in  detail  in  his  works,  which  has   grown  increasingly  since  he  began  his  double  major  at  Wichita  State  University,   which  is  about  to  be  completed  in  2016.    Both  of  these  traits  come  together  to  create   incredibly  vibrant  works  of  art  that  represent  anything  from  past  celebrities,   seasidegalleryandgoods.myshopify.com mandalas,  optical  illusions,  and  the  occasional  non-‐representational  abstract.      There   is  a  mixture  of  pulled  palette  knife  techniques  and  incredibly  fine  detail  with  a  00-‐ 0000  brush,  each  creating  their  own  style  of  approach  to  the  works  as  a  whole.    The   scale  of  works  he  creates  vary  from  the  miniature  to  the  incredibly  oversized.     Currently,  most  of  his  works  are  on  36”x72”  canvases,  but  he  plans  to  create  more   smaller  scale  works  throughout  the  fall.    Throughout  the  years  in  art,  his  artwork   has  been  showcased  in  exhibitions  and  juried  entry  group  shows  throughout  the   United  States,  including  such  iconic  cities  like:  Seattle,  Laguna  Beach  and  Kansas   City.    He  plans  to  continue  showing  more  works  throughout  the  country  and  is   always  looking  for  new  galleries  to  exhibit  his  works.   This  coming  year  many  changes  are  expected  at  HUE,  from  new  artists,  to  new   monthly  and  bi-‐weekly  events.    For  more  information  on  the  gallery,  visit  their   website  at  www.huewichita.com.   85 87
