 September
 2014,
 HUE
 Gallery,
 located
 in
 Wichita,
 Kansas,
 has
 been

bringing
 in
 artists
 throughout
 the
 country
 to
 give
 a
 new
 light
 of
 inspiration
 to
 a

thriving
 city
 that
 is
 beginning
 to
 truly
 become
 a
 great
 landmark
 in
 the
 Midwest
 for

contemporary
 arts.

 With
 the
 mission
 statement,
 “To
 promote
 and
 provide
 space
 to

upcoming
 and
 established
 regional
 and
 national
 artists.
 Through
 exhibitions,
 local

networking
 and
 online
 marketplaces,
 we
 support
 and
 promote
 visual
 arts
 in
 our

community
 through
 expanding
 the
 collections
 of
 art
 patrons
 and
 businesses
 alike,”
 we

find
 artists
 throughout
 the
 country
 to
 allow
 more
 patrons
 and
 art
 lovers
 of
 Wichita

to
 be
 able
 to
 view
 art,
 that
 might
 otherwise
 require
 a
 road
 trip
 to
 see.

 This
 journey

to
 starting
 this
 gallery
 began
 with
 a
 past
 that
 was
 intertwined
 between
 Lindy
 Wiese

and
 Sean
 Christopher
 Ward,
 who’s
 families
 have
 been
 intertwined
 for
 nearly
 twenty

years.

 Both
 Lindy
 and
 Sean
 began
 their
 first
 gallery
 experience
 together
 as
 resident

artists
 at
 a
 local
 Wichita
 studio
 entitled,
 Artist
 Central,
 which
 fostered
 the

relationship
 in
 the
 arts
 and
 gave
 them
 the
 dedication
 and
 will
 to
 begin
 a
 gallery
 all
 of

their
 own.

 Throughout
 the
 fall
 and
 winter
 of
 2013,
 and
 leading
 up
 to
 September
 of

2014,
 they
 painstakingly
 turned
 a
 barren
 section
 of
 a
 broom
 warehouse,
 into
 what

the
 gallery
 is
 today.

 business

 artists
