This program is divided into four (4) modules:
Week #1- Transferring:
Chair to Furniture, chair to bed, chair to floor, floor to chair
Week#2- Managing your Environment:
Opening and closing doors, operating elevators, wheelies, curbs, ramps and various terrain, etc.
Week#3- Traveling with Your Chair
Focus is on car transfers, flying, travel and getting out
Week #4- Mechanics of Your Chair / Adaptive Sports:
Making adjustments to and general maintenance of your wheelchair, overview of various adaptive sports options
