Tempe Festival of Lights Parade: Overview
The 25th Anniversary of the Tempe Festival of Lights Parade was a huge success! We had a great turnout this year with around 20 people in attendance. To kick off the holiday season, AZSCIA along with our closest friends and family, participated in the parade by brightening everything up with thousands of lights. Armed with over 20,000 peppermint candies, our group had a blast passing it out to the biggest crowd we've seen yet with over 60,000 people watching. This year was even broadcasted on Channel 3 News!
We want to thank everyone who came out and showed support. It was a chilly night so we appreciate you all braving the cold with us. We love getting to spend the holiday season with the people we care most about. We can't wait for next year!
If you were not able to participate this year but want to next year, stayed tuned! It is never to early to plan for next year right? We roll/walk in the parade annually so don't miss out in 2020!
