Independent Living Skills: Fun in the Sun/ Movie Night

These classes allow you to learn and practice skills to live more independently, while meeting other people with similar experiences. Independent living classes are always the third Tuesday of the month. We take a half hour (1/2 hour) for lunch from 12-12:30pm. Let’s take advantage of these long nights, and get this summer started off right. Please join us by the pool for swim and movie party. Let’s make a splash to celebrate the summer time. Join us poolside for fun in the sun.

Barrow Neurological Institute Summer Events

Adaptive Climbing, Kayaking, and Paddle Boarding

July 16th & 18th 2019

Barrow Neurological Institute is providing adaptive climbing, kayaking, and paddle boarding this summer! For adaptive climbing on July 16th, there are two time slots: Time Slot #1 at 11-12PM is for those who can ambulate interdependently and have some grip in at least one hand. Time slot #2 (12-1PM) is for those with limited use of there lower extremities. The cost to participate is only $5!

For the adaptive kayaking and paddle boarding on July 18th, no experience is necessary, all abilities are welcome! For both events, please register by calling (602) 406-1620 or email Elizabeth at [email protected]
