Advanced Wheelchair Skills Classes
Shorter hospital and rehabilitation stays may not allow enough time to learn important wheelchair skills, or changes through aging require a brush up course to learn new skills to remain independent. Wheelchair skills are vital as they help prevent secondary conditions or isolation due to an inability to navigate our environment. It also teaches individuals to become more efficient in the usage of their wheelchair.
Come and join us in some practical advice from those who know and hav been doing it for years. You're never too old to learn something new or you might help someone new just starting this new journey of their life.
The Spring 2019 Advanced Wheelchair Skills Classes will take place on April 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, 2019 (every Thursday of the month) at 4:30PM-6:30PM. These classes are FREE. Registration is still required.
