Hello, my name is James Hinckley. I grew up in a family that exposed me to many adverse childhood experiences. My parents were loving but had marital issues that often led to domestic violence. My parents went through a messy divorce that left me feeling miserable. At this point in my life, I started having disruptive and destructive behavior. I quickly started to partake in juvenile delinquent activities and before I knew it, I was incarcerated in Adobe Mountain Juvenile Institution for boys. Although I was troubled in my youth, I was also a leader in my own right! What I mean is, I got good grades, was very athletic and good in most sports. Teachers loved my outgoing personality (but said I talk too much), and I loved God!
