3rd Annual Push Forward
Educational Conference Recap
Our 2018 Push Forward Educational Conference was an amazing event! We had over 100 people attend and we were able to help connect local businesses with the spinal cord injury population. We are incredibly thankful to all of the speakers and community resource partners that contributed their time to help us create this event!
With over 100 people in attendance, we really got to see the meaning of community. There were peer mentors, community resources, and professionals in the room together and you could feel the energy. During our lunch portion of the conference, Drumming Sounds lead an empowering drumming circle where everyone got their own drum or hand instrument and got to participate. It definitely was a blast to play music as a group and all come together to create a very positive and enlightened environment. Class presentations were incredibly thorough and displayed a lot of information that people really wanted to hear about. We held a few new class sessions this year that we've never done before and feel confident that attendees got to choose from a wide range of session topics.
Spotlight Story
Next year we hope to have another awesome event, and we hope to reach more people than ever before. Once again, we thank you all for your time and energy that you brought to the event.
