BIA's Compassion a Fatigue Workshop: Helping the Helpers

January 24th, 2018

Participants will explore Compassion Fatigue though its two primary components: secondary traumatic stress and burnout. Participants will gain an understanding of the symptoms and effects associated with compassion fatigue; explore methods to resolve current symptoms and prevent future effects. Participants will have the opportunity to self-administer a compassion fatigue assessment and gain knowledge of how to complete a professional and personal resiliency plan.

Wheelchair Curling Program

January 3rd- February 21st, 2018

Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center will be partnering up with the Coyotes Curling Club to run our first ever Wheelchair Curling program for the months of January and February. If you are ready for your new adventure on ice, enroll now!! You can be a wheelchair or powerchair user, don’t worry for your skill level. Friends and family are welcome to join!

The Recreational training with a Coyotes Curling Coach will be held every Wednesday night from January 3rd to February 21st.
