I love to be involved in negotiations and dealing
with the vendors and business partners. I have
always enjoyed communicating with people
from other countries as well as my colleagues as
it helps to improve my English communication
skills.

The part of my job that I
enjoy the most is hitting
targets. I remember there
was a time when I failed to
hit my targets for three
consecutive months. I felt
disappointed and almost
gave up. At that point, Mr
Puah, Mr Ooi as well as my
colleagues kept encouraging
me. I hit my target the
following month. Dawn will
come after darkness and you
just have to keep on trying. I
wish to say ‘thank you’ to my colleagues for the spiritual
support.
Two things about me that no one knows; I love to read
about investments and Popular Book Store is my
favourite reading spot. As I have acrophobia, I would
avoid tall buildings and would only take ground
transport. Everyone can fly but it’s just not for me.

The main highlight of my two years with Etika has
been the establishment of PT Etika Marketing (PTEM)
in 2012. I would like to describe it as the “baby
period” where the company started crawling, walking,
standing up and running. I am optimistic that PTEM
will be an inspiration for other manufacturing
companies. My favourite part of the job role is
assisting my team by providing materials to ensure
that production runs smoothly and the finished goods
are constantly available to fulfil market demand. I am
afraid of the dark and I love oldies.
