Why quit school?
By Vegard
Why do many student drop out of school today? Is it because of the teachers, the other
students, or is it just too hard? In Americathe rate of students that drop school is almost
50%. The fact is that many students do actually quit the school, some just after the
start and some in the middle of the school year. There is no good reason to quit, even if
you struggle at school.
Some students may even get. If you are getting bullied every day, maybe because of
the same reason, you may not even think there is another way to make them stop.
Some people say that you just have to go to the teacher and let him know, but it is not
that easy. The teacher might think you are overreacting, that you just have to stay away
from them, but they can follow you after school and bother you. In almost every school
something like this happens. This is a huge reason for why people have to leave school.
Many students do struggle with the motivation part. In America the two thirds of the
students who drop out blame the motivation. They are saying they just cannot work
hard enough. If you are going to finish the school it is always clever to have a goal or
some kind of motivation. If you lose the motivation, you may think there is no reason to
finish the school. The teacher task if they want the students to stay at school is to work
with them and prove that the motivation is there, you just have to search for it.
The last major reason for why people drop out of school is, if a student has been gone
from class a while because of disease, he might struggle to catch up with the other
students. Half of those who did drop out of school said they could not catch up with the
other students. Maybe the teacher did not help the student to catch up. Or if the student
do catch up, he might have used all his energy, then he lost his ability to give 100%,
and he did not finish all his assignment completely.
So to conclude this essay, here is the conclusion. The issue with students dropping out
of school might have a connection with bulling, motivation trouble or students that
struggle with catching up with the rest of the class. If the teachers would did what they
can to help their students, maybe the number of students, who drops out of school,
would decrease. The parents should also help, but it is the teachers who can help at
school. If a student reads this, remember, there is always another way out, than quitting
school. Always remember to set a goal, so you have something to work for.
