Adaptations : His creator : Georges Prosper Remi, more known as Hergé, was born in 1907 and died at the age of 75 in 1983. He was a famous Belgian cartoonist. His most well-known work is The Adventures of Tintin. He began to write Tintin’s adventures in 1929 and finished at the same time he died. The character Tintin : He is a reporter and adventurer who travels around the world with his dog ‘Snowy‘ (‘Milou’ in French). The origin of the name Tintin and the inspiration for the character remain a mystery since Hergé was vague about it; when pressed for an answer he would say that Tintin was himself. Tintin debuted in Le Petit Vingtième. The most famous comics are Tintin in the Congo, The Secret of the Amercicans have adapted this comics into a famous movie The Adventures of Tintin : The Secret of the Unicorn which the producer was Steven Spielberg. It was released in 2011. It was very successful.
