PALANDOKEN
Palandöken is located in Erzurum/Turkiye.
Home to many international ski
competitions, Palandoken ski resort in
Eastern Turkiye is one of Turkiye’s best
ski destinations with its superb snow
conditions, long runs and excellent
facilities and accommodation options.
(Turkish for “Dragon”) trail. Due to fog
and risk of avalanche, the Ejder lifts and
trails are sometimes closed
Alternative winter activities at Palandoken
ski resort include Alpine skiing, ski
touring and heli-skiing while various
hotels at the village are well-equipped
with wellness facilities such as Turkish
baths, saunas, heated swimming pools
and fitness centres.
The hotels also provide après-ski and
nearby Erzurum has numerous
restaurants and bars.
Palandoken is situated on the northern
slopes of the mountain which shares the
same name and has an altitude in excess
of 9,842 feet.
And because of its fine grained-light
powder snow, Palandoken mountain is
one of the famous skiing destinations in
Turkiye.

The toughest run is on the backside of
the mountain, known as the Ejder
The skiing season begin in November and
last as long as until June.
There are four hotels on the mountain:
Polat Renaissance hotel, Dedeman hotel,
Dedeman Ski Lodge, Palan Hotel and
Xanadu Snow White.
