Gothenburg By Erica and Kajsa Liseberg Universeum In Gothenburg, Sweden is one of Scandinavia’s largest amusement parks. It had their opening year in 1923 so today Liseberg is 90 years old and still one of the funniest things to do during summer with attractions/carousels and during the winter with a beautiful Christmas market. Universeum is a science center located next to Liseberg. Universeum cooperate in various ways with 16 of Sweden’s universities and colleges. Here is a list of what you can see: ? ? Except from al carousels Liseberg has two stages, “little stage” that have fun entertainment for kids and “big stage” aimed at adults with performances from famous artists. Artist like ABBA, Carola, Orup, Sammy Davis Jr, Rolling Stones and Alice Cooper. Each year in May, “Liseberg Garden Days” are arranged which is western Sweden’s largest garden show and runs for four days.
