Sports Italy Baskin by Gabriele Baskin (abbreviation of integrated basket) is a sport activity inspired to basketball which allows disabled young people to play together with non-disabled boys and girls. Baskin was born in Cremona thanks to the passion and the cooperative spirit of a group of parents and support teachers. Baskin organizes its activity at a national level through the National Central Committee and has 1250 players in Italy. Rules The regulation of Baskin adapts: Stuff: Baskin involves the use of more hoops (2 normal and 2 lateral lower hoops); possibility of replacement of the normal ball with one of a different size and weight. Space: Baskin involves the use of protected areas meant to make shooting in lateral hoops safe Rules: each player has a role defined according to his motor skills and thus has a direct opponent of the same level. National and International Recognitions On 12th December 2007 the Municipality of Cremona nominated Cremona “Hometown of Baskin” We thinks that Baskin is a really good sport that can afford relationship with other people.
