Prahova Valley
is a tourist
region situated about 100 km
north of the capital city of
Bucharest . Prahova Valley
attracts tourists coming from all

combines the existence of three
essential elements: the beauty
of the mountain, many mountain
resorts suitable for both winter
sports and hiking in the other
seasons and sights that make
up an important part of the
cultural heritage of the country.
Firstly, I’m going to present some of the beautiful tourist
attractions .
Busteni, located at an altitude of 900 metres is a major tourist
center of Prahova Valley , offering spectacular views to mountain
lovers. The resort offers the possibility to practice winter sports at
the Kalinderu ski slope, both for beginners
and for those medium and advanced level ski
chairlift and is equipped with floodlights. From
a height of 2291 metres, the Cross, a
monument with a steel structure, 40 metres tall, built in memory
of the heroes who died in WWI, watches above the city. The Cross
is illuminated at night, and the view is spectacular.
