The Theatre at Delphi

The theater at
Delphi is one of the
few theaters of
ancient Greece , for
which we know the
exact date and the
forms had over the
centuries , its overall design and
appearance of the hollow . Located in the
temple of Apollo , in the northwest corner
and then its enclosure . In ancient times
hosted the games voice and instrumental
music , which were conducted under the
Pythian and other religious festivals , the
importance of which gives the monument
spiritual and artistic value equal to the
sporting idea that symbolizes the ancient
stadium of Olympia . The form of the first
theater constructed in space , is not
known . It is likely that the spectators sat
on wooden seats or directly on the
