As far as anyone can tell, astrology first
began in Mesopotamia at least 4000
years ago.Many cultures have attached
importance to astronomical events,
like Indians, Chinese, and Mayans. In the
West, astrology most often consists of a
system of horoscopes that claim to
explain
aspects
of
a
person’s personality and predict future
events.Horoscopes can be predicted for
different periods: days, weeks, months
and even years.
Not to be confused with astronomy, the
scientific study of celestial objects. The
main difference between astronomy and
astrology is that astronomers are
interested in the science part, while
astrologers perceive everything as being
interconnected and learning how the
universe operates, especially how it
manifests on us.
