We are Joseph and Bilal. We are from
Belgium and we present the Belgian food.
The Belgian food is diversified and the
best Belgian dishes are the molds-chips,
the fish Waterzooi, the waffles, the frites,
the frikandel, the beer and the best of
best is the Belgian chocolate.
Belgium is famed for its high quality
chocolate and he exist about 2,000
chocolatiers. The story of Belgian
chocolate begins in 1635 when the
country was under Spanish
occupation and during the early 20th
century. The Belgium imported the
cocoa from its colony, the Belgian Congo.
Today, chocolate is very popular in
Belgium, with 172,000 tonnes produced
each year and a lots exported.
Why Belgian chocolate is unique?

Because the quality of ingredients and the
traditional manufacturing techniques are
respect, the Belgian chocolate is
nonesuch. Our chocolate companies don’t
use the vegetable-base fats too. Many
firms produce chocolates by hand, which
attracts many tourists. The seafood
pralines (pralines shaped like sea shells or
fish) are popular with tourists and are
sold all over Belgium.
The Famous chocolate companies follow
strictly some traditional recipes and
sometimes secret for their products. The
best chocolate companies are Godiva,
Côtes d’Or, Neuhaus, Guylian and
Léonidas.
