History SWEDEN Swedish Crown Princess Wedding By Jackie and Josefin Victoria Ingrid Alice Désirée is the crown princess of Sweden and was born 14 July, 1977. She is daughter to the Swedish king Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. Victoria is the oldest sibling in the family, her little sister is Princess Madeleine and her little brother is Prince Carl Philip. In June 2010 Victoria got married to Daniel Westling. Victoria actually got her little sister to thank for finding the love of her life. Daniel Westling was a very good personal trainer at a gym called Master Training in Stockholm, her little sister Madeleine tipped Victoria about this gym and the personal trainer Daniel. Victoria went to the gym many times every week and she got a really good relationship with her new personal trainer, Daniel We s t e r l i n g . B u t t h e i r relationship develops and they fall in love wi th each other. At first Victoria and Daniel tried to hide their relationship but the media founds out about it. The reason why they wanted to hide their relationship were because Daniel was not of a royal family. At first Daniel wasn’t accepted by the ! Swedish royal family and parts of the Swedish people were also negative to Daniel. But after a while the Swedish royal family and the Swedish people accepted Daniel and Victoria and Daniel got permission to get married. Daniel and Victoria are today very popular and most of the Swedish people like them. The 23 of February 2012, they had a baby, Estelle, princess of Sweden. The royal family are a big part of the Swedish culture and we are looking forward to see little Estelle grow up and become T h e 1 9 o f J u n e 2 0 1 0 , a crown princess. Victoria and Daniel got married in Storkyrkan in Stockholm. The wedding was the first crown princess wedding in Swedish history and many other countries were interested in the wedding. The wedding was sent directly by many TVchannels around Europe. 7
