The Secret of The Brain Seeing Without Eyes
English science magazine New Scientist searched
how E?ref Arma?an’s brain works. What makes
Arma?an special is that he is a blind painter from
birth. He was born in 1953 in ?stanbul. He has
never been able to see the colours. He has never
gone to school. He has learned the Braille
Alphabet when he was 30. He started drawing
the objects that he had touched when he was
only 6. He painted his first picture when he was
14. The scientists of Harvard University took the
MR of Arma?an’s brain and they realised that his brain works in the same way
as a person who is not blind. Discovery Channel has made a documentary
