Economics ROMANIA Autumn in Romania By Bianca and Ionescu It is autumn again and the fruits of the Earth have been gathered to fill the barns and storehouses for the coming winter. Sunflower, grapes, wheat and maize, plums, apples and walnuts are now ready to be turned into sweet liquors or jams that remind one of the plentiful summer. Autumn fair Autumn fairs are held in Romanian cities each year in September. On the first day of the event, the city centre begins to ! smell like pastrami, cheese, traditional plum drink, grape must and many other dishes, which are 100% fresh and natural.
