LEGACY PROJECTS
The Church of Michael Jackson By Rachael Paulson
In today’s world, many of us are connected by Facebook and some of
us have friends on Facebook that we count on to see their posts each
day; and hear their comforting words they send to us or post on their
own page. I think it is the same with the music of Michael. People
now feel the loss of that connection they had with him. But, his music
and the humanitarian work that he did when he was alive will keep
passing on that bright light energy that many of his loving and devoted
fans still feel each day.
When I first came into connecting within the Michael Jackson fan base
on projects in Africa and Haiti in his memory, I did ask myself “how
can people be so dedicated to a man that has left this world”?
But now I see and understand that the energy this man has left behind
is enough to last a lifetime and he will have devoted people who feel
so thankful to him for the comfort he somehow has brought to them. I
have learned things about Michael Jackson that I would have never
known before getting involved with his good works. I know that he
loved sunflowers and now I seem to see them everywhere I go. When
I travel they seem to appear in my hotel room or I find a random sunflower that happens to just appear out of nowhere.
