Farley "Jackmaster" Funk,Jesse Saunders, Duane Buford & Vince Lawrence brought in Pandy to lay down the vocals to "Love Can't Turn Around" that became a US commercial success and made the Chicago house sound and house music as we know it today a widespread phenomenon. Darryl’s range with gospel squalls and hitting those glass shattering notes put him in a class of house music royalty. . The rest is dance music history.
