LWIS Hazmieh
– Places and Identities
On April 25, 2016, The KG3 class at LWIS Hazmieh visited the American University of Beirut (AUB) to examine how diverse features give a place its identity. Learners explored the features of old and new buildings, identified how buildings changed over time and drew simple sketches from their observations. Field trips are intended to create practical educational experiences in support of the LWIS mission and the IB-PYP curriculum that is on offer (once authorized).
