LWIS-Universal School of Lebanon (LWIS-USL) Koura
– Creative Writing Contest
The Creative Team of the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Balamand invited students and teachers from all schools in North Lebanon to participate in a series of writing workshops culminating in a Creative Writing Contest on May 21, 2016. Learners from LWIS-USL Koura were given the chance to read out their stories in front of a panel of English professors. Sarah Dabboussi and Ibrahim Ismail from LWIS-USL won 1st and 3rd place prizes for fiction writing, respectively. LWIS-USL is proud of all the learners who participated in this contest.
