23rd Annual Mayor's Spelling Bee!
Jefferson School hosts
annual event!
On Friday, May 5, 2017 Jefferson School hosted their 23rd Annual Mayor's Spelling Bee under the direction of 5th Grade teacher Karen Steiner. Deputy Mayor Joseph Florio and Superintendent of Recreation DJ Salvante were on hand to celebrate.
Student competed agasint their classrooms in the first round of the spelling bee, and the winners of those contests represented their class in the finals. First Place winner was Oseka Balogun and 2nd Place winner was Andrew Arce.
