"The cuban guy," mr. andres lara, hosted an assembly "how to stay motivated during difficult times," for union high school students. His book of the same title, reveals stories that have helped him stay motivated to accomplish his dreams and he hopes his stories help others during difficult times.
Paulina Markowski, a sophomore at uhs, submitted an original design to "Sock Problems," a company that uses socks to raise money for charities. Paulina’s design on gun violence was selected from hundreds of submissions nationwide and will go into production in the next few weeks.
ConnectOne Bank proudly presented the Township of Union Education Foundation with a $2,500 check. Ceu Manata, ConnectOne representative, presented the check to Sue Lipstein, president of the Foundation, and trustees Barbara Birger and Sal Terrezza.
