Burnet middle school
hosts tournament
On Friday, March 31st, the PBSIS team of Burnet Middle School held its 6th Annual March Madness 3 on 3 student basketball tournament. The PBSIS team created the tournament in order to reduce discipline referrals for the longest month of the school year. Students created teams in the beginning of March and in order for their team to make it to the tournament; they had to be discipline-free for the entire month. Students motivated each other to be on their best behavior. Thirty teams competed in front of two hundred student and staff spectators.
